Questions, answered gently
If something isn't covered here, ask me directly — no question is too small.
A birth doula provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support before, during, and just after birth. I offer comfort measures, position changes, breathing guidance, and clear explanations of your options — I do not provide medical care or make decisions for you.
Many families reach out in the second trimester, but there's no wrong time. If you're further along, reach out anyway — availability depends on your due month.
Absolutely. An epidural is a valid, supported choice. My role stays the same: helping you rest, change positions safely, and stay informed about what's happening.
Cesarean births deserve doula support too. I help you understand each step, advocate for your preferences where possible, and support you and your baby in recovery.
Never. I make your partner more effective — teaching hands-on comfort measures, offering breaks, and freeing them to be present with you rather than managing logistics.
Booking early secures your due month. I take a limited number of births per month so every family gets my full attention.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage technique that helps move lymphatic fluid, reduce swelling, and support immune function. It can also support recovery after surgery, including C-sections, mommy makeovers, and other cosmetic procedures.
